On Limit Aperiodic G-sets

چکیده
We prove that the property to be limit aperiodic is preserved by the standard construction with groups like extension, HNN extension and free product. We also construct a non-limit aperiodic G-space.

Aperiodic Colorings and Tilings of Coxeter Groups
We construct a limit aperiodic coloring of hyperbolic groups. Also we construct limit strongly aperiodic strictly balanced tilings of the Davis complex for all Coxeter groups.

The potential energy surface of gaseous glycine determined years ago in the ab initio B3LYP/6-311++G** calculations is composed of thirteen stable conformers. We performed the ab initiomolecular orbital calculations as the starting point to carry out a force field and normal coordinatecalculation on the most stable conformer of non-zwitterionic glycine [conformer (I)]. Thecalculations were carr...
متن کاملAperiodic Sets of Square Tiles with Colored Corners
In this paper we formalize the concept of square tiles with colored corners, a new kind of tiles closely related to Wang tiles. We construct aperiodic sets of square tiles with colored corners and several new aperiodic sets of Wang tiles using isomorphisms between tilings. The smallest aperiodic set of square tiles with colored corners we have created consists of 44 tiles over 6 colors.
متن کاملA hierarchical strongly aperiodic set of tiles in the hyperbolic plane
We give a new construction of strongly aperiodic set of tiles in H, exhibiting a kind of hierarchical structure, simplifying the central framework of Margenstern’s proof that the Domino problem is undecidable in the hyperbolic plane [13]. Ludwig Danzer once asked whether, in the hyperbolic plane, where there are no similarities, there could be any notion of hierarchical tiling—an idea which pla...
متن کاملRate-distortion functions of non-stationary Markoff chains and their block-independent approximations
Consider a random source which evolves on a finite set. It follows from existing literature, see for example [1] and [2] (Pages 491-500, in particular, see Definition (9.8.3) and Theorem 9.8.3 for achievability), that the limit of the normalized rate-distortion functions of block-independent approximations of a a stationary, ergodic source is equal to the rate-distortion function of the source....
